How It All Started
In 1998, some beer enthusiasts who were also good friends made the decision that they didn't want to drink just beer. They wanted to produce it. They started out in a worn-down fish warehouse at Kalasatama. No frills, but their beers picked up the authentic, natural atmosphere. Their followers expanded, and they had to move into larger quarters. So in 2013, they relocated to a larger location in Suvilahti, churning out more than 100,000 liters annually but maintaining that craft brewery atmosphere.
Brewing with Passion and Curiosity
What sets their beer apart? They truly care about each batch. Rather than reverting to the same old recipe, they enjoy experimenting. Experiencing novel malts, hops, and spices is their game, constantly pursuing new flavors and scents. They're not afraid to adjust their techniques to create the ultimate pint, displaying genuine enthusiasm and ingenuity.

Something for Everyone
Need something light and crisp or bold and rich? Stadin Panimo's got you taken care of. They have their popular American Lager that's full of citrus and creamy malt and it won Finland's "best beer" award in 2014. In addition to that, they produce intense Imperial Stouts, flavorful IPAs, and seasonal brews that mix things up all year long. You can get their beers in stores and Alko stores throughout Finland.
More Than Beer: The Shop and Bar
If you drop by their Suvilahti brewery, don't skip the Stadin Panimobaari. It's a little bar with freshly brewed beers right on tap (typically eight different varieties) so you can sample and discover your new favorite. Next door is their store, filled with fresh beers, ciders, and even some imports. Great for picking up something special or just to get your craft beer fix.
