Our story The Galeta story started in 2011, with a market stall stacked high with home baked cookies. We’ve grown a little since then but our values have never changed. Creating in our Hackney home, we still use only the freshest natural ingredients and only bake the treats we love the most. That’s the Galeta recipe. Our awards Proud to be named East London’s Baking Heroes by The Independent, we’ve won multiple Great Taste Awards for many of our creations. There’s our Almond Croissant, famous Pastel de Nata, gluten-free Orange & Polenta Cake and Vegan Peanut Butter Blondie. Oh, and let’s not forget the cookies! Why not give them a try? Our bakery is led by Chef Yvonnick Lalle who has led kitchens in Michelin starred restaurants in London and New York before joining the Galeta family in 2020.
