The Rango confectionery company was born in Cassano all'Ionio, in the Province of Cosenza, home of fig production. Antonio Rango, taking up ancient family traditions, launched himself, with enthusiasm and dynamism, into his adventure precisely to transmit to the new generations the philosophy and value of "things of the past made at home".
Rango's dried figs, in fact, are produced with artisanal skill. They are carefully selected and processed exclusively by hand without the use of preservatives and colorings, strictly following ancient, jealously guarded family recipes.
Our figs grow naturally in the Mediterranean area but only in the various locations of the Province of Cosenza, they achieve: excellent organoleptic characteristics, thin skin, few seeds, elongated fruit, pulpy and creamy body.
The various processing phases have remained unchanged from the original recipe: after harvesting, the ripest figs are dried in the sun in the period between August and September.

Antonio Rango, with the collaboration of his family, personally follows all the processing phases, from the careful selection of the raw materials (figs, almonds, walnuts, etc.) to the packaging of the finished product, taking care of all the details so that the taste is never altered but naturally exalted.
Rango recalls that the fig was a great passion of cultured men because it was rich in energy and nutritional capacity, also cited in the Gospel as "a tree with good fruit that has always accompanied man's life".
