TERRITORY
At the center of a vast area that slopes from the Daunian Pre-Apennines towards the Tavoliere plain, olive groves with centuries-old trees extend as far as the eye can see, enclosing in a ring Torremaggiore, a charming town in the province of Foggia, which draws its origins from the Abbey Benedictine “Monasterium Terrae Maioris”. Nearby we find the remains of “Castel Fiorentino”, a well-known locality where the Emperor Frederick II of Swabia died on 13 December 1250 and where an imposing cathedral and its residential palace once stood. In this area dedicated to agriculture, the Evoo company was born in 1995, founded by the Bosco family, with a very specific goal: to produce and enhance the typical products of their country.
THE COMPANY
Today the company is made up of an all-family team that with passion and great stubbornness helps to spread the products all over the world.
It is precisely thanks to the intention of keeping the tradition of Puglia cuisine alive over time and at the same time the very high quality of the products, that Evoo Fine Foods has been awarded several times in international events.
In this plant, the company produces Peranzana monocultivar extra virgin olive oil, citrus and spiced extra virgin olive oil, preserves in oil, seasoned and pickled olives, ready sauces, creams and bruschetta, all always preserved only and exclusively in extra virgin olive oil of own production.
For Evoo Fine Foods, a good product starts with its processing, which is why only the best raw materials are used directly from the countryside of our area and are processed within 24 hours to preserve their freshness.
THE MANUFACTURING PLANT
The plant is divided into three production areas.
The first is used for the processing of table olives with an adjoining Alfa Laval continuous cycle mill of the latest generation.
The second is used as a laboratory for the processing of handicraft products, such as preserves in oil, creams, bruschetta and ready-made sauces.
The third is used as a factory for the storage and packaging of extra virgin olive oil.
The company has also been a member, since 1997, of the Guild of Oil Masters, an association that operates throughout the world for the enhancement and promotion of high quality extra virgin olive oil.
The new design of Evoo Fine Foods starts from the enhancement of the territory, in fact our pattern comes out of the leaves of the fresco of the throne room of the ducal castle of Torremaggiore, where the transposition of these leaves forms slender triangles that symbolize the union between the human and the divine, the encounter between man’s work and nature, between taking care of something natural and knowing how to do it.
Extra virgin olive oil, skilful transformation of a natural product through the mastery of man.
